Well tonight I've launched my first real site. While I designed and coded it myself I find myself fairly dissatisfied with the sites design. I feel that it fails to convey what I want this site to be...and so I will be returning to the drawing board to craft a design I feel is aesthetically pleasing and still highly accessible.

Part of the problem has stemed from me gradually learning the Wordpress way of things, but also the fact it is my first attempt at building a proper site that may be seen by hundreds. However I will strive on as I want this site to succeed. Hopefully over the next 3 months I will learn much about the site, its audience and then craft a design to meet there needs and expectations.

What is funny is that at the same time in coding this site I built my personal blog. That turned out to be a much easier affair and I actually like the design I ultimately used. In the next few days I should therefore have some new designs posted as I begin a new process of redesign.
